Panel Discussion: Delivering Digital Services Created for Citizens
It is our great pleasure to invite you to the Panel Discussion: Delivering Digital Services Created for Citizens, organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, the Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje (ISSHS) and Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society. The event will take place on September 2, starting at 10:00 AM, at the Alexander Palace Hotel but also online for which we will provide links for all registered attendees.
The event is organized in synergy with the projects supported by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, implemented by Institute for Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje (ISSHS) and the Metamorphosis Foundation for Internet and Society. It will contribute to the public and expert debate on the possibilities for real digitalization of the services provided by the public administration at central and local level in North Macedonia and will serve as a source of key and expert knowledge for the responsible stakeholders.
The program of the event consists of a short presentation of two researches, namely “Analysis of e-Services in the Municipalities in the Republic of North Macedonia” prepared by Metamorphosis Foundation, and “Digitalization as a Path to True Citizen-Oriented Administration: Decentralization of Processes as a Means of an Accelerated and Effective Reform” prepared by the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje (ISSHS), followed by a discussion on the delivery of digital services created for citizens.
The event is open in its onlilne format and it is expected to be attended in person by representatives of the international community, institutions, civil society organizations, media and other stakeholders. The working language of the event is Macedonian, with translation provided in Albanian and English.
