Increasing the Transparency and Improving the Rule of Law by Monitoring and Reporting the Violation of Human Rights in Macedonia
Тhe Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje implemented the research for the project “Increasing the Transparency and Improving the Rule of Law by Monitoring and Reporting the Violation of Human Rights in Macedonia” carried out by the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia. This research focuses on the citizens’ opinions, beliefs, their understanding of human rights, the discrimination and the institutions that cover this topic. The goal of the research was to gather data regarding how well-informed the citizens are about human rights, and what mechanisms to use for protection against human rights violation. A telephone survey was used to conduct the research with a sample size of 1001.
