Including Child Social and Financial Education in the Life Skills Curriculum for Primary Education in Macedonia
The Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje in the period of November 2014- July 2015 worked on the project “Including Child Social and Financial Education in the Life Skills Curriculum for Primary Education in Macedonia”. The project was supported by UNICEF- Macedonia and Aflatoun and it was implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Bureau for Education Development, the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje- ISSH, and other national educational experts.
The overall goal of the project was to introduce the CSFE curriculum in the national education.
Тhe main activities of the project were:
– Introducing CSFE in the life skills curriculum for primary education;
– Developing teacher materials for SCFE education as part of the Life skills program in primary education;
– Implementing curricular and extracurricular activities in pilot schools;
– Evaluating the pilot and proposing recommendations for scaling up.
