Exploring the role of Religion in WB Societies
In 2018-2019, the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje worked on the project “Exploring the role of Religion in WB Societies.” The project was implemented in collaboration with Institute for Democracy and Mediation (Albania), Belgrade Open School (Serbia), Centre for Social Research – Analitika (BiH) with the support of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Kingdom of Netherlands. The aim of the project was to assess the role of religion in the Western Balkan societies, as well as to identify the existing practices and possible strategies for promoting religious diversity for the prosperity of the region. The research data was presented on the regional conference “The Role of the Religion in Western Balkan Societies” in June 2019 in Tirana. An English publication “Occasional Papers on Religion in Eastern Europe” was also produced, which is available at the following link: https://digitalcommons.georgefox.edu/ree/
