The web platform www.zarobenadrzava.net deals with the issues of the captured state. The content of this website (available only in Macedonian) itself is divided into four categories: Media, Education, Freedom of Association and Assembly and Entrepreneurship. Each of these four categories contains individual policy studies, factoids, and visualizations derived from the analyzes. Additionally, on this platform can be found the crowdsourcing tool through which citizens who have been subjected to pressure, threats or drastic fines can share their stories with guaranteed anonymity. The website is based on the research of the Institute “Freedom of Expression, Association and Entrepreneurship in a Captured State: Macedonia in 2015.” The research was conducted with the support of USAID and the Open Society Foundation – Macedonia, and the continuation of the campaign was supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
