  • MEDIA POLICIES AND EDITORIAL (UN)FREEDOM

    Despite the declarations for guaranteeing editorial freedom, policies stipulated by the law and the bylaws of the media regulatory body prevent editorial freedom. Even though we do not think that citing article 16 from the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, which refers to the freedom of speech, would be more than declarative, we still point out as symptomatic its absence from the laws that refer to the media.

    It is our great pleasure to present the publication “Nationless” which came as a product from the collaborative initiative between the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities – Skopje, the organization Dam Dash- Belgrade and the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies in Thessaloniki which brought together around 100 artists, theoreticians and activists in a series of exciting events in the three cities.
